EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: High School diploma. Able to read and write in English. Computer literacy is required to operate email, internet. Valid NJ Driver’s License with a record that allowed the company to insure him/her as a driver for the facility.EXPERIENCE: A minimum of a year working experience as a maintenance worker in a facility.SPECIAL CLIENT-RELATED QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of working effectively in a self-directed role, able to multi-task and problem-solve. Each job responsibility and competency measurement include the following requirements: the ability to coordinate work of others, able to manage and coordinate multiple tasks while dealing with clients, employees and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and under supervision, Ability to communicate effectively with all clients from adult age to geriatric, co-workers, individually and in group setting. Telephone etiquette.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Comply and abide with the Agency’s Code of Ethics.Comply with the Agency’s policies and procedures.Adhere to applicable laws, regulations and Agency’s policies governing alcohol and other drug abuse services.Able to work to Agency’s different working schedules.Capable of operating the company vehicles safely.Maintenance and routine checks of facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to: facility repairs, i.e. painting, fixing doors and locks, furniture storage and rearrangements, small carpentry jobs, repair walls, some minor electrical work and simple plumbing, etc.Verify that all facility grounds are clean, (front and rear areas).Check all boilers and furnaces for proper functioning and compliance.Maintain boilers and electrical rooms clear of items that are not allowed to be in the rooms.To coordinate and supervise the shoveling of snow during the winter.Daily pick-up of correspondence from post office.Verify that vehicles are in working and in proper condition/ready for employee use.Confirm that vehicles are being well maintained/clean.Take vehicles to the motor vehicles for inspections.Must be available/accessible 24 hours a day (on cell) and or seven days a week, (for any circumstances or emergencies that may require prompt response).Monthly Generator inspection.Recycle - Cartons, Glass, Plastic, electronics.Pick up Gas Receipts and bring them to Fiscal department.Make sure to clock in and out and approve your timecard electronically.Complete the Relias TrainingsOther Duties as assigned.
