Job Summary:

Horizon BCBS seeks a self-directed Operations intern with a passion for data analytics, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Undertakes an internship designed to provide on-the-job training and experience
• Engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level.
• Receive training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
• Undertake and/or participates in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to the needs of the organization.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Entry Level Role
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Operations or related field.
• Requires High School Diploma
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to execute tasks with a sense of urgency
• General Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

Location: 3 Penn Plaza Newark NJ - Hybrid Work Schedule

Schedule: 8am-5pm (9 hour work day with lunch)

Duration: 11 week Summer Internship Program (June 2, 2025 - August 15, 2025)
