Indeed Senior Payroll Specialist in Newark, New Jersey

Your job

  • Process payroll for an assigned business unit, entity or region

  • Provide accurate and timely responses to employee’s payroll related inquiries

  • Update employee information in our third party payroll provider, including state/local tax liabilities, address changes, and all pertinent W2 information

  • Assist with Ad Hoc reporting requests as needed

  • Provide backup support and assistance to other payroll team members

  • Other duties as assigned

Who you are

  • Responsible for first-level approval and compliance with internal controls.

  • Ensuring payroll processes are compliant according to local statutory requirements.

  • Ongoing collaborative interactions with cross-functional teams.

  • Assist with additional administration, audits, and compliance testing/reporting.

Who we are

  • 5+ years of multinational payroll experience at a global software company. (3+ years in a similar role)

  • Meticulous, organizational skills and with proven attention to detail

  • Proven customer service focus and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise work and work autonomously with minimal supervision

  • High level of proficiency in Excel and in Google Docs

  • Experience with Workday Payroll

Education Requirement : Certified Payroll Professional, Bachelors Degree(Finance/Accounting)

Austin 49,109 - 68,400 USD per year

NYC Metro Area 58,115 - 82,800 USD per year

Scottsdale 48,000 - 72,000 USD per year
