Description We are in the Higher Education industry, located in NEWARK, New Jersey, United States, offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Engineer. As a part of our team, you will be heavily involved in the administration of Linux server systems, primarily focusing on RedHat Enterprise Linux. Your role will also require a strong understanding of AWS IaaS, EC2 deployment, and S3.

Responsibilities include:

• Administering Linux server systems, with a focus on RedHat Enterprise Linux

• Utilizing AWS IaaS, EC2 deployment, and S3 in day to day operations

• Employing configuration management via Ansible

• Using Cisco, Citrix, Cloud, DELL EMC, and Dell Technologies in various capacities

• Applying skills in AB Testing, Active Directory, Automation, AWS Technologies, and Backup Technologies

• Managing use of Microsoft Windows and other related technologies

• Incorporating good communication, problem-solving, time management, and empathy in all tasks

• Familiarizing and working with Splunk, VMware vSphere, Git, and NetApp as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential for this role.

• Expertise in Citrix Technologies is required.

• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is mandatory.

• Proficiency in DELL EMC Technologies is a must.

• Knowledge of Dell Technologies is greatly desired.

• Experience in AB Testing is required.

• Proficiency in Active Directory is essential.

• Experience with Automation is necessary.

• Proficiency in AWS Technologies is highly desirable.

• Expertise in Backup Technologies is required.
