Aggreko Service Technician - Electrical Newcastle in Newcastle, Australia
We’re looking for an Electrical Service Technician, servicing the NSW Newcastle /Hunter region who will be focusing on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation. You will coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures and, also conduct safety inspections and comply with Aggreko's safety regulation. You will provide first level technical advice to customers and may resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems.

What you’ll do:
Perform routine electrical servicing activities and general equipment maintenance in line with operating procedures and work instructions including basic alternator fault finding / repair, basic low voltage electrical fault finding & repair, basic loadbank operation, battery maintenance, product controls operation etc.
Install and decommission Aggreko's Generators and temperature control equipment
Respond to major component failure escalations.
Carry out major component changes and field repairs.
Carry out troubleshooting of diesel engines.
Implementation of field campaigns as required.
Provide hands on mechanical support.
Ensure the completion of major repairs are on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Service and Maintain Generators and accessories both in the field and in the workshop.
Can do attitude.
Willing to learn.
Qualified Electrician
Electrical License
Driver’s License
Forklift License an Advantage
MR Truck License Advantage
