Key qualifications :
Knowledge of construction equipment
Basic understanding of and ability to perform machine repairs
Skilled in operating equipment including loading, unloading, inspections and prep for rental or sale
Ability to operate construction equipment and perform equipment operating demonstrations
Computer literate (including Microsoft Outlook and Internet) and other software applications preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Successfully provide service of recognized superior value.
Load and receive equipment in a timely and safe manner and complete necessary paperwork
Inspect machine condition upon arrival and notify foreman and appropriate personnel of any damages
Keep yard in a clean and organized condition
Quickly respond to Sales Administrator/Rental Coordinator inventory requests
Perform repairs on inventory as needed
Prep equipment for delivery to customer as instructed, including attachments and modifications
Ensure H.O. Penn rental machines are rent ready, including inspections, PM's, and minor repairs and proper documentation
Assist Sales Department to promote products and services
Assist walk-in customers with equipment demonstrations and product information
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders and promote corporate strengths
Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
Successfully contribute towards building a culture of safety through completion of all safety initiatives and demonstrating safe work habits
Complete/attend all safety meetings, computer-based safety training, safety audits and other safety training as assigned
Work in a proactive, safe manner in compliance with all safety practices, policies and training
Immediately resolve and/or report all safety issues to supervisor
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with all Contamination Control Initiatives
Qualifications:

Sitting, rotation and forward bending (sitting and standing)
Hand coordination and reaching
Grip (30lbs. with both hands, 80lbs. with preferred/single hand)
Foot pedal operation
Climbing stairs and ladders
Crawling, low work (kneeling), and awkward positioning
Outdoor work (as required)
Wearing 10-20lbs. of protective clothing, including fire resistant clothing, welding helmet/shield, & ANSI-rated protective footwear (as required)
