Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining three buildings on campus. This role involves HVAC, mid-voltage electrical, plumbing, building controls, and mechanical tasks. MAINLY HVAC troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Maintain all aspects of the three buildings on campus
Perform HVAC maintenance and repairs
Handle mid-voltage electrical work
Manage plumbing tasks
Operate and maintain building controls and low voltage systems
Conduct general facilities maintenance
Essential Skills
Experience with HVAC systems
Knowledge of mid-voltage electrical systems
Proficiency in plumbing
Familiarity with building controls and low voltage systems
General facilities maintenance skills
Mechanical aptitude
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Good attitude
Willingness to learn and work with others

Work Environment
The work environment involves developing products for the livestock, crop farming, and food industry. It can be hot and dirty, with dust that may stick to the skin. The role requires the use of ladders and boom lifts, and work will be conducted in both industrial and office settings. The position follows a day shift schedule, typically consisting of four 10-hour shifts with some Friday work required (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
