Job Title: Welder

Job Description

Join our team as a Welder in a factory that specializes in customizing air filtration devices according to specific requirements. You will be responsible for production welding in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding, including vertical down welds to pass the weld test.

  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

  • Utilize measuring tools to ensure precise fabrication.

  • Engage in TIG welding as needed.

  • Apply basic math skills to ensure accurate measurements and calculations.

  • Adapt and learn the company’s specific welding processes.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in MIG welding.

  • Ability to perform a vertical down weld.

  • Blueprint reading skills.

  • Experience with measuring tools.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Experience in TIG welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to company processes.

Work Environment

Our manufacturing space is a custom shop with a very open layout. While the facility is not climate-controlled, air flow is well-monitored, ensuring that it does not get extremely hot during the summer. The position is on the 2nd shift, working 10-hour days from 3 PM to 1 AM, Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday required. This results in a schedule of 50 hours one week and 60 hours the next.

This is a Contract position based out of Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.45 - $20.45
