Lead Data Scientist

Job Description

Brightly Software is seeking a leader to join our Product team in the role of Lead Data Scientist to drive best in class client-facing AI & Analytics by creating and delivering insights that advise client decisions tomorrow.

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in building an AI offering for Brightly. You will partner with our various software Product teams to drive client facing insights to inform smarter decisions faster. This will include the following:

Key Responsibilities include a combination of Strategy, Execution and Leadership with the ideal candidate possessing a clear track record of excellence in each area:

Strategy

• Function as a strategic thought leader in AI & Analytics working with the Product Managers to drive optimization models and outcomes.

• Partner with Products, Reporting, Data Cloud, and Software Engineering to understand needs, gain agreement on key initiatives, and work to deliver models and data strategy.

• Identify key data questions and build out supporting plans.

• Conduct thorough data analysis and feature engineering to extract meaningful insights and improve model performance.

• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data processing workflows.

• Monitor and evaluate model performance, implementing improvements and updates as necessary.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, and apply this knowledge to enhance our capabilities

Execution

• Ensure alignment on systems roadmap, data needs, and data architecture as needed.
