Primary Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Design: As a CloudOps Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and cost
Automation and DevOps: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline the deployment and management of cloud-based systems and applications. You will also implement DevOps methodologies and best practices to ensure fast and reliable delivery of software and infrastructure changes
Performance and Availability: You will monitor the performance and availability of cloud-based systems and applications, and proactively identify and resolve issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems and applications are highly available and performant
Security and Compliance: You will ensure that cloud-based systems and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, and ensure that the systems and applications are compliant with regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR
Leadership and Mentoring: You will mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement. You will lead by example in developing high-quality code and systems, and work with the team to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and standards
Implement DevOps methodologies and best practices to ensure fast and reliable delivery of software and infrastructure changes

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
12+ years of experience in cloud computing, automation, and DevOps methodologies
Highly experienced at designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure
Hands-on experience in automation scripting and tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Proven experience in implementing DevOps methodologies and best practices
Proven experience in monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based systems and applications
Solid knowledge of security and compliance standards and regulations
Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills
