Primary Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Design: As a CloudOps Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and cost

• Automation and DevOps: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline the deployment and management of cloud-based systems and applications. You will also implement DevOps methodologies and best practices to ensure fast and reliable delivery of software and infrastructure changes

• Performance and Availability: You will monitor the performance and availability of cloud-based systems and applications, and proactively identify and resolve issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems and applications are highly available and performant

• Security and Compliance: You will ensure that cloud-based systems and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, and ensure that the systems and applications are compliant with regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR

• Leadership and Mentoring: You will mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement. You will lead by example in developing high-quality code and systems, and work with the team to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and standards

• Implement DevOps methodologies and best practices to ensure fast and reliable delivery of software and infrastructure changes

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

• 12+ years of experience in cloud computing, automation, and DevOps methodologies

• Highly experienced at designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure

• Hands-on experience in automation scripting and tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or Bash

• Proven experience in implementing DevOps methodologies and best practices

• Proven experience in monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based systems and applications

• Solid knowledge of security and compliance standards and regulations

• Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills
