About the Role:

As a CBRE Database Sr. Engineer, you will work with developers, D&T staff, and end-users to provide advanced technical support, maintenance, and logistical support to production and test systems.

This job is part of the Database Engineering job function. They are responsible for the upkeep of databases across several company platforms and computing environments.

What You’ll Do:

The major requirement for this role is to assist our inter-regional development team with Power BI dashboards, Dataflows, and having sound hands on experience on SQL queries and using other data sources.

Your skills in conceptualizing solutions while working with minimal oversight will enable you to thrive in our constantly evolving environment. You will need the ability to work as a team member and be able to assist the development team in assessing the needs of the business users, developing extensible solutions to meet those needs and applying best practices in developing those solutions will be critical to your success in this role.

What You’ll Need:

· Degree qualified.

· 5+ years’ experience in BI Development & Design (Power BI)

· Technical aptitude

• Strong SQL skills

• Excellent working knowledge of the following:

• Agile Processes

• Power BI Desktop

• Power Platforms

• Understanding of the Identifying Performance Improvement tools

• RLS implementation in Power BI

• Data Modeling and handling

• Data Analytics

• Tableau (Desirable)

• Optimization practices.

· Strong analytical skills.

· Experience Amazon Glue, Azure Data Factory.

· Demonstrated ability in working through the full development life cycle.

· Other duties as required.
