Responsible for designing and improving mechanical production lines; interpreting blueprints and schematics; conferring with other engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolving system (electrical and mechanical) malfunctions, and providing technical information; preparing reports and analysis feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of designs and/or applications; specifying system components to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications; and conducting research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components and systems.
