Job Description

CACI has a full-time position for an experienced Senior Data Analyst team member to provide a full range of program support for a U.S. Navy customer located in Norfolk, VA. Specific responsibilities include supporting government senior managers in diverse maintenance and logistics programs that are critical to mission accomplishment and support to the surface ship fleet.

The Senior Data Analyst tasks typically would include applying previous knowledge and experience in:

  • Providing ASQ Lean Six Sigma-level analysis and recommendations. Identify recommended options through Lean Six Sigma analyses and provide reports summarizing analyses and recommended courses of action.

  • Providing metrics and analytics. Utilize statistical techniques that analyze the patterns, trends, and areas with most potential for both cost and efficiency improvements.

-Evaluation of data quality and the processes used to maintain data integrity

-Data Analysis:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret a wide range of logistics data, including maintenance records, supply chain metrics, and performance indicators.

  • Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for optimization.

  • Develop insightful reports and presentations, clearly communicating complex data findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Partner with stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for improving maintenance efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing fleet readiness.

  • Discovery, interpretation, and communication of meaningful patterns in data with the goal of predicting future events, discover and Interpret patterns in the data

Required knowledge and skills in the following areas:

  • Lean Six Sigma Certifications or equivalent

  • Advanced Microsoft software use including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including use of pivot tables)

  • Experience in data analysis and presentations utilizing a wide source of data across an enterprise and functional areas

  • Providing executive level summary reports of targeted data analysis with recommendations focused on improving client mission areas

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active DOD secret security clearance is required

  • Lean Six Sigma Certifications

  • 8+ years of recent Data Analysis experience with Bachelor’s Degree. 12+ years of specialized experience in lieu of degree also is acceptable.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience interacting with senior-level government managers

  • Integrated Logistics Management (ILS)

  • U.S. Navy Logistics Processes and Systems

  • Background in U.S. Navy ship repair data systems

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field

Physical Demands:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for extended periods of time, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
