PROGRAM MANAGER (NAVIFOR):

Bowhead seeks a Program Manager to support the Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR)N6 Directorate located in Suffolk, VA. This effort will providethe highest level of Navyenterprise management and technical support in the areas of: Emergent/future technologymodernization; Data analytics/management/science; Application development; Performanceplanning/improvements; Cybersecurity readiness; Assessment and Authorizations (A&A); IT portfoliomanagement; NMCI/ONE-Net readiness, sustainment, and convergence; Domain IT service delivery;IT Service Management; Shore transformation/integration; and headquarter IT support.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall management and performance of all contract activities and task order requirements.

• Performs day-to-day technical and management support functions of assigned projects.

• Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all activities and deliverables associated with assigned projects.

• Applies quality assurance measures to the management and performance of the contract.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline.

• Must have ten (10+) years of IT Program Management experience to include at least five (5+) years’ experience supervising and managing personnel involved in IT projects for the DON or DOD. Two (2+) years’ experience managing at least 20 or more IT professionals.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) required.

• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 or later Foundations Certification desired.

• Intermediate-to-advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite—Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.

• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds

• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret / SCI level (current SSBI within the five-year scope). US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
