KBR is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to join our team. This position provides support for the EA-18G aircraft sustainment/modification program by providing analysis, research, computer application (NAVY ERP/SAP, SAMS, NST, AMSRR, RAMP, NATEC, and DECKPLATE) processing, and documentation (Statement of Work, formal letters) preparation. Note: This position is a hybrid position with approximately 60% on site and 40% telework.
Role and Responsibilities:
Perform management of all aspects of fleet readiness on avionics systems to the F/A-18 and EA-18G Class Desk at Commander Naval Air Forces (CNAF) Norfolk, VA. for Navy EA-18G aircraft and Mission Mounted Equipment.
Responsible for reviewing draft Engineering Change Proposals, Technical Directives, Interim Flight Clearances, coordinating Technical Directive rollout with the associated program offices along with managing kit stock, addressing fleet concerns with sourcing parts, and reviewing and drafting message traffic.
Provide avionics subject matter expert experience and recommendations to Functional Wings, Type Commander and other Navy activities to resolve technical and logistical issues. Approving authority for components cannibalized for lateral support requirements and coordinate redistribution of high value assets among Functional Wings, and squadrons to meet deployment requirements.
Develop solutions to the fleet for equipment shortfalls affecting readiness for unscheduled and scheduled maintenance issues that impact planned aircraft usage within prescribed operating intervals.
Monitor daily Fleet Readiness using Aircraft Material Status Readiness Reports (AMSRR) and interact with the Maintenance Operation Center when shortfalls are detected ensuring that squadrons are maintained at capacity.
Plans, initiates and participates in teleconferences/meetings for aircraft modification requirements planning as a CNAF Director of Aircraft Material and Engineering Representative. Acts as main POC for all issues. Tracks modification program/project status and schedules, conducts and participates in meetings and supports specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) requirements. Reviews for LEM newly issued Technical Directives (TD’s) and continually assess all technical directives for current and future funding requirements. Creates of follow-up of program/project status and schedules, prepares presentations and reports. Performs all assigned tasks under supervision. Oversees the process of obligation and execution of funding required to perform aircraft modifications. Performs required research needed to ensure all required data is validated and correct prior to execution of funding to the Navy Depots. Oversees the review of SOW documentation for correctness, makes necessary changes and provides recommendations to upper management. Ensures all assigned tasks are completed as required and conducts training sessions for the military, government civilians, and contract personnel assigned to the team. Must have Microsoft office experience (OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL), and computer skills/aptitude to use and understand this position’s required unique computer applications. Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree in a related field in addition to 5 years of military experience in an equivalent technical position . In lieu of formal education, 13 years of experience will be accepted.
An active SECRET security clearance preferred, eligibility to obtain and maintain required. Must be a US Citizen.
