Summary:

The North Central Middle School is seeking a full-time Middle School Language Arts teacher to educate and inspire students in grades 6-8. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching, and a strong commitment to student success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Language Arts curriculum that aligns with state standards and school objectives.

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity.

• Assess student progress regularly through various methods, including tests, quizzes, essays, and projects.

• Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic performance, behavior, and attendance.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.

• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on current trends and best practices in Language Arts education.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

  Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Language Arts, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• Valid teaching certification in Language Arts for grades 6-8.

• At least two years of teaching experience at the middle school level.

• Strong knowledge of Language Arts curriculum and instructional strategies.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.

• Commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
