Position Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Systems Administration Manager you will be directly responsible for providing hands on leadership of Green State’s Enterprise and Business Systems Administrators within the IT Engineering organization. This exciting team is responsible for digital transformation and supplying operational excellence as it relates to the oversight of our member facing and internal applications. This includes supporting strong execution through the different phases of the Software Development Lifecycle and collaboration with our business partners. In this role, you will enhance solutions architecture and oversee Agile development practices for our administration scrum teams to drive organizational and operational changes.

Salary range for this position is $137,492.42 - $160,744.48 with a progressive benefit package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery and maintenance, installation, and configurations of Green State’s applications/s.
Collaborates with stakeholders and end-users to understand and interpret business needs.
Manages the entire application lifecycle, from technical requirements through deployment, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
Effectively manages and delivers work requests and projects within the committed budget, schedule and with high quality.
Supports a collaborative environment while putting the right urgency on issues as it relates to vendor supplied set ups.
Maintains commitments to enhancing end user experiences and optimizing efficiency through the use of automation.
Identifies technical obstacles or deficiencies early and work closely with the team to find creative solutions.
Collaborates and shares knowledge to create effective and innovative solutions to problems. Create a culture that lends itself to technology advancement while balancing security and safeguarding information.
Identifies emerging technologies and trends that could drive more effective solutions and future proof applications.
Consistently assess and refines development processes and methods to improve team performance, efficiency and product quality.
Ensure Agile standard processes are followed and continuously improved.
Ensure technology solutions align with architectural and evolving security standards and application changes are led smoothly, adhering to standard processes and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Manages the consolidation of alerting, monitoring, maintenance, and support processes to scale and enforce consistency across teams.
Supports the team in allocating resources effectivity and efficiently in order to support GreenState’s strategic plan.
Maintains a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations and coaching.
Job Requirements/Expectations
Bachelor's degree in STEM or MBA required. Master’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science preferred.
Agile Certifications (PO, SM, CAP, or other) Preferred
Minimum of 6 years of experience leading engineering teams that develop or administer userinterface software.
Six Sigma/PMP Preferred
Demonstrated experience recuring and managing technical teams, including performance management.
Proven experience leading and developing IT teams, with a strong focus on leadership, mentorship, and team development
Leadership experience managing multiple cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior-level management and key collaborators.
Advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management, and other related fields/processes
Well-versed in Agile development and requirements management processes
Proficiency in a wide variety of servers and applications with the ability to rapidly adapt to emerging technologies. Includes both on-prem and cloud private/public cloud hosted applications.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work, work autonomously with minimal oversight, and be proactive with communications and task prioritization.
Ability to manage through ambiguity, build alignment, and create buy-in with cross-functional teams.
Passionate about engineering best practices and leading by example
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the IT Director Analysis and Administration.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the supervision of others.
