The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking for a reliable facilities technician to help maintain our 17-building complex and support over 900 employees. The facilities team often works closely with engineers to support varied program needs. The selected candidate will gain work experience in a variety of trades, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, wood working, painting, and carpentry.

SDL supports a variety of missions, including NASA's vision to reveal the unknown for the benefit of humankind and the Department of Defense's aim to protect our nation on the ground, in the air, and in space. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma * Must have a valid driver's license * Strong communication skills both written and verbal * Physical requirement: must be able to lift up to 50 pounds * Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a US government security clearance Preferred Qualifications: * Working knowledge of commercial plumbing * Back flow certification * Commercial HVAC experience * Willing to be on call after hours * Working knowledge of trades * Willing to travel as needed SDL Benefits: At SDL, we take pride in and highly value our employees.
