The Opportunity:

This role will report directly to our General Manager while leading a team of 2+ Estimators and a Continuous Improvement Lead. This role has a wide reach in our company and therefore needs someone who has a strengths in both Operations and Finance. You will oversee and lead the estimations, pricing, and continuous improvement functions across the business.

About the Role:

• As a leader of the department you will build a collaborative, supportive, learning culture within the Commercial Operations team. The successful candidate will coach & motivate the team by setting clear expectations.

• You will oversee the whole estimation function and provide insights for accuracy while building systems and tools in line with our growth plan.

• Part of this role is to continually support and drive the Continuous Improvement mindset and projects on site in partnership with your CI Lead.

• Present ANZ pricing proposals at APAC at weekly meeting along with our Commercial Manager

• Creation of local PSG to provide more controls around local pricing methodology, processes, and calculations

• Weekly Actual vs Estimate pricing analysis to address and investigate and variances outside of tolerance %.

• Provide margin analysis reporting and insights for all customers

• Participate in Senior Management meetings

• Set commercial operations annual strategy in line with business strategy.

• Prepare commercial operations budget, savings initiative - review budget vs actual for department on monthly basis

What you will need to succeed:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Finance, Operations, or Quantitative Methods

• Demonstrated Continuous Improvement Mindset

• Ability to lead and develop team members

• Leadership based on Humility
