What to Expect:

Reporting directly to the Head of HR for Nestlé Canada, you will play a pivotal role in driving the people agenda for our commercial & marketing business teams. Your main responsibility will be to provide strategic HR leadership, collaborating closely with business leaders to ensure HR initiatives are aligned with our overall strategic objectives. This influential position is important to our organization's success as the work you do will be instrumental in attracting, developing, and retaining talent and in building the culture of our organization.

A day in the life:

People Partner: act as a partner to the business, mentoring and coaching the Executive team member and their team to drive execution of HR initiatives

Change Management: Be a change leader, working with the business to drive organizational transformation and change projects using standard process methodologies.

HR Strategy: collaborate with leadership to build and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business goals and cultivate a team-based culture with high performing talent. Co-ordinate and implement workforce planning for the specific client group.

Organizational Design and Development: Proactively challenge the established organizational structure to drive outstanding performance. Help support the culture to align with Nestlé goals and initiatives through supporting and mentoring managers in their implementation of core people processes.

Performance and Talent Management: Co-Develop the People Plan and Talent Management agenda for the business/function. Lead talent review and calibration, implement future oriented organizational planning and talent management plans.

Role Requirements

• 10+ years of HR experience across client groups including corporate functions, sales and marketing is required.

• Proven competence in all functional HR areas including, compensation and benefits, talent management, recruitment, employee relations, learning and development and DE&I.

• Experience working in a large multi-national company with leading HR processes and practices including Shared Services HR model and with Centres of HR expertise in talent management, learning and development, employee relations, and compensation & benefits.

• Experience in leading and managing change, organization design, and development.

• Sound knowledge of Canadian employment and labour law.

Preferred Skills

• Minimum of 5 years as a senior HRBP supporting business leaders in large complex organization with multiple collaborators (including matrix relationships).

• Operations/labour HR experience

• Strength in developing, adapting and implementing HR/people strategies along with Business Leader to achieve key strategic objectives in area of responsibility.

• Ability to handle complex issues with discretion and serve as a mediator and guide to successful conflict resolution across all levels of the organization.
