M.S. Walker Accounts Payable Associate in Norwood, Massachusetts
M.S. Walker has an exciting and immediate opportunity to join our Accounting and Finance team as an Accounts Payable Associate! This position performs key Accounts Payable functions such as verifying invoices, obtaining approvals and data entry. Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices
Sort, code, match invoices and enter them into the system
Ensure that all bills to be processed for payment are approved, have the proper back-up, such as bill-backs, etc., and are properly coded
Prepare and perform check runs
Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
Prepare, sort, copy, file and mail invoices, receipts, checks, correspondence and other requested items
Reconcile accounts payable transactions
Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
2 years Accounts Payable experience preferred
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi task
Excellent communication skills
Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
