Insight Global Maintenance Technician in Norwood, Massachusetts

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a top pharma client. They will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of GMP/non-GMP process and support equipment. This position will support troubleshooting, investigations, and reliability engineering for GMP/non-GMP process and support equipment. As the first responder to equipment issues, the Maintenance Technician must ensure resolution by either self-performing the work or directing the activities of service providers. Key responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment and systems, maintaining cGMP records, understanding Asset Management and reliability concepts, and overseeing the operation and maintenance of manufacturing and support systems/equipment. The role also involves managing contract service providers, providing on-call support on a rotating basis, and ensuring spare parts, tools, and equipment are available for all assigned tasks. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and the reliability of its equipment.

The compensation for this role ranges from $40/hr to 43/hr depending on skillset, education, and years of experience. Benefits are also offered for this role.

Skills and Requirements

AS degree or certificate in a science/technical field or a technical trade school.

  2-5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/med device maintenance

  Knowledge of cGMP regulations and maintenance of manufacturing/support systems and equipment.

  Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities.

  Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to develop remediation activities.

Familiarity with Asset Management and reliability concepts. MA Boiler 2 License

  Second Class Fireman License null
