The University Operations, | | Events, and Safety division leads the University's event management, | | hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student | | life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives. | | | | Why this position? | | The Retail Associate provides the Notre Dame community and guests | | with the very best in foods and services. Makes all guests feel | | welcome by providing a warm, friendly atmosphere and being responsive | | to the changing needs and desires of our customers. Prepares a | | variety of food items in multi-unit food and beverage operations, a | | convenience store, for delivery service and catering functions. | | Responsible for performing all tasks relating to retail including | | safety and sanitation of food service facilities, including food prep | | areas, and guest areas. Operates the cash register recording guest | | orders, and tendering sales. Assigns, and participates in the | | preparation, stocking, and rotating of food inventories. Leads by | | example while training new employees.
