Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Maintenance Tech in Oakland, California. In this role, you will be vital in maintaining the condition and functionality of our properties. This position involves tasks related to property maintenance, unit inspections, and tenant inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of units to ensure readiness for occupancy

• Respond to tenant inquiries promptly and professionally

• Ensure all aspects of the property are in optimal condition for the next tenant

• Carry out general maintenance tasks as required

• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the property

• Handle maintenance requests and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner

• Support the team in maintaining the property and ensuring tenant satisfaction

• Proactively identify potential issues and propose effective solutions

• Collaborate with the team to maintain the highest standards of property maintenance

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in property maintenance. Requirements • Possess relevant experience or training in the field of maintenance and repair

• Demonstrated ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests

• Proficient in using various tools and equipment for maintenance tasks

• Capable of reading and interpreting technical manuals and drawings

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and clients

• Willingness to adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times

• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours if required

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed during maintenance tasks

• Basic computer skills for logging maintenance requests and updates

• Must have a valid driver's license.
