Director of Business Operations, Intech International (A Subsidiary of BWXT)
Location: Remote (up to 60% Travel Required to Nuclear Generating Stations and Client Sites in Ontario)

Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Business Operation to lead Intech International. This role is pivotal in driving growth initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and managing all aspects of the business division. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to define and achieve business goals while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic planning and execution to drive operational and financial performance.
Oversee daily operations, financial management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Foster a safety-first culture through effective Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs.
Drive business growth through sales, marketing, and new business development initiatives.
Manage a contractual, project-based workforce of approximately 300 specialized technicians and engineers within both unionized and non-unionized environments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, unions, and external clients.
Manage financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit & loss oversight.
Lead and develop high-performing teams, ensuring succession planning and talent development.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations.
Serve as a key liaison with union representatives and government agencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (P.Eng. preferred); MBA is an asset.
Proven leadership experience in business or divisional operations, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or nuclear industries.
Deep understanding of the nuclear industry, including NDE and plant component maintenance.
Strong financial acumen in budgeting, reporting, and strategic financial planning.
Demonstrated success in operational management, process optimization, and risk mitigation.
Experience leading sales, marketing, and business development strategies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across Ontario.
Security Clearance:
This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. The security clearance process is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and may take up to 12 months to complete.

The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[133,000]] and $[[184,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
