Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Responsibilities Responsible for various tasks relating to project development, works directly for Deputy Director & Project Management Lead. Assists in preparing, the necessary documents to obtain required base permits for project execution. Interface with Public Works, ES, and Base Telephone on all projects requiring Logistics representation. Perform site investigations to determine level of project permit documentation required to comply with Base regulations. Communicate with base regulatory office as needed to finalize permitting requirements. Ability to review project documents, drawings and floor plans to ensure consonance with all applicable safety regulations and customer needs. Will also assist in maintaining facility inventory information, change of status of facilities and maintain physical building documents and other essential information for future use. Assist in Project Scope Development, and will be assigned as Contract Officers Representative, (COR). Maintain all projects binders and drawings assigned to Logistics Division. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy and professionalism. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Identify and takes action to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Alerts the higher level supervisor or proper point of contact for assistance when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Uses required safety personal protective equipment, and observes safe work procedures. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications Must have three years that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above OR a Bachelor¿s Degree in a related field. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work independently as well as a team environment. Must have the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Have knowledge of construction procedures, building trades and relevant building safety codes/guidance. Must be familiar with ¿Valued Engineering¿ construction design concept when applicable. Must have the ability to make statistical mathematical computations using standardized tables and formulas. Must have knowledge of terminology and symbols that are standards used in architectural/engineering drawings. Must be proficient in Windows, Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint. Must be a Team Player.
