Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description/Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled and directed by Team Leader
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment within the manufacturing facility
Complete open work orders in a timely fashion as directed by Team Leader
Record daily work done in Plant Maintenance Log
Maintain Maintenance shop cleanliness and orderliness
Assemble, disassemble, and convert/upgrade production lines or support equipment as required for repairs, upgrades, and/or installations
Regularly inspect production lines and support equipment and schedule necessary preventive maintenance routines
Weld together metal parts, equipment pieces, etc. as needed
Work overtime as required
Rotate on-call schedule with maintenance staff
Order parts as needed for service
Essential Skills
2-4 years of industrial maintenance within manufacturing
Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience specifically working with drives, motors, and belts
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Electrical troubleshooting (480v) motors, drives
Mechanical troubleshooting - changing bearings, unlocking bearings, leveling machinery
PLC knowledge - ability to diagnose
Hydraulics
Preventive maintenance
Schematic reading
3-phase electrical systems
Industrial maintenance
Pneumatics
Work Environment
This role follows a 2,2,3 rotating schedule on the night shift from 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, with minimal overtime unless completing special projects. Training will be on days, Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. The facility is medium-sized with about 10-14 employees per shift. The environment is clean, temperature-controlled with air conditioning in the summer.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $64147.20 - $72467.20/yr.
