Individual will be responsible for planning,organization,and directing the acquisition and sale of academic,office,and art supplies. They will be responsible for the proper management of the entire supply inventory.This includes contacting vendors to resolve,pricing,quantity disputes,damaged goods,and invoice concerns. They will work efficiently and professionally with others in the bookstore. They will ensure that all supply orders are generated,received,and invoiced correctly.Individual will provide excellent customer service. They will buy/source products through vendors,maintain accurate inventory,and create/implement merchandising plans. They will be expected to keep abreast of new products and trends,maintain overall and detailed stock levels,keep areas of storage and sales floor clean,and keep product areas organized.Additionally,will work with students,departments,and faculty to receive feedback on products. Position will interact with administration,departments,vendors,suppliers and students to coordinate the successful procurement,sale and inventory management of academic supplies with an emphasis on affordability and maintaining fiscal success.
