In this role, you'll take ownership of high-impact projects, starting with our Labor Management Standards initiative. You'll work cross-functionally with DSD branch personnel, collaborating closely with a national counterpart and local warehouse supervisor teams to ensure quality, consistency, and operational efficiency in all phases of project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution : Travel to 10 DSD branch locations and assess their current productivity targets. Create alignment of warehouse tasks for each position to remove operational bottlenecks. Track Key Performance Indicators that will lead to productivity savings. Coach team to use tools and processes to reach productivity savings.
Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks, escalating issues to global leads or the program manager as necessary.
Reporting and Stakeholder Management : Provide weekly detailed project reporting and updates, utilizing scorecards, status reports, and monthly SteerCo review meetings. Lead stakeholder meetings to align on project progress and outcomes.
Budget and Resource Management : Oversee project budgets, resource planning, and utilization to optimize project efficiency.
Project Completion : Coach our warehouse supervisor teams to meet the newly defined KPI goals to achieve their productivity savings.
Vendor Relationship Management : Manage relationships with external vendors, including quality assurance throughout all phases of project delivery.
Deliverables:
In this position you will be responsible for assessing a 10 warehouse locations current performance, introducing a Labor Management Standard for the site to follow, and a systematic process for management team to track and coach performance, while maintaining and/or improving metrics in safety and service.
Deliver defined savings with the operational efficiencies gained in the first year.
Qualifications:
Experience : 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly within logistics, distribution, customer service, or supply chain operations.
Project Management Skills : Proficient in using project management tools and methodologies. PMP or Six Sigma certification, PowerBI, Smartsheets, Quickbase is preferred.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Demonstrated ability to work across teams and departments, particularly in large, complex organizational structures.
Communication and Leadership : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience leading stakeholder meetings and managing relationships with external partners.
Passion for Brand and Culture : Enthusiastic about building a culture of dedicated, efficient teams within DSD warehouses.
This role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our logistics and customer service teams. The base salary range for this position is $117,400 - $161,425. The exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
