The Opportunity:

CACI, Inc.'s Corporate Information Systems Cyber Security Team is seeking a Cybersecurity Technician. As a member of the Cyber Security Team you will work to create and maintain a safe operating environment for CACI’s users by protecting network boundaries, designing hardened computer and network devices and providing security services to protect highly sensitive data. The Cyber Security Team works with a broad range of devices and technologies and actively monitors systems for attacks and intrusions. The Cyber Security Team uses data aggregation and analysis techniques and tools to provide valuable insight into the security posture of CACI’s infrastructure. Additionally, we also work within CACI and third-parties to ensure that all technologies are designed with security in mind, follow industry best practices and are compliant with applicable guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work in a team-centric environment

  • Experience drafting technical manuals, installation manuals, procedure outlines and incident response plans in order to enhance system security documentation

  • Analyze security reports, review and document process documentation, and assess test results and remediation plans

  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all business levels

  • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills

Qualifications:

  • University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years related work experience

  • Familiarity with Endpoint Security (e.g., McAfee and CrowdStrike)

Demonstrate an intermediate level of knowledge in three or more of the following:

  • Endpoint Security

  • Operating system internals and hardening (e.g. Windows, Linux, OS X)

  • Identify risks and control gaps

  • Endpoint security assessment and remediation activities

  • Risk management and mitigation strategies

  • Development of security tools, automation or frameworks

Desired Qualifications:

  • A Professional certification (Security+, CIA, CISA, CRISC, CISSP)

  • Experience with COSO, CoBIT, DFARS 171, ISO, NIST, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$51,800 - $106,100
