Description
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Account Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient information, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring smooth communication between the pharmacy, healthcare providers, and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients via phone or electronic communication.
Verify patient insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to medication access.
Assist with billing and reimbursement processes.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Previous pharmacy tech experience is a huge plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy management systems.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
