Job Duties: This position is responsible for the management of all operations within Court Services for the Tenth Judicial District. Duties include budgetary responsibility, grant management, personnel supervision, program management and data reporting. This position directly supervises the managers of five distinct units: Domestic Services, Juvenile Services, Adult Pre-Sentencing Services, Adult Post-Sentencing Services, and Support Services. This position reports to Court Administration and is a member of the court management team.
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a social services field is required. A minimum of five years of experience working in the field of probation is required. Minimum of three years of supervisory experience required. Strong preference given to those with experience in risk assessment, EPICS, and evidence-based practices. Budgetary and personnel experience are preferred.
Desired Abilities: This position requires attention to detail and strong written/oral communication skills. The ability to work both independently and with a team is required. The ability to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations is important. The desired candidate will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to statutory and policy changes. The ability to maintain confidentiality in personnel matters is required. Strong leadership skills are desired with a proven ability to interact with both clients and stakeholders in a professional manner.
