Job Title: Maintenance Technician I - 2nd Shift AND Maintenance Technician I - 3rd shift

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 2nd shift and 1 for the 3rd shift to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. The role involves repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. The technician will also perform preventive and predictive maintenance, resolve safety concerns, perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping, monitor inventory supplies, and maintain maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.

• Resolve safety concerns promptly and effectively.

• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping duties.

• Monitor inventory supplies and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.

• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.

• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.

• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.

• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Boiler knowledge.

• HVAC experience preferred.

• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing (Not required but preferred).

Work Environment

Our facility includes a receiving side for dirty towels, mats, and uniforms from industrial companies and hospitals. We have industrial washers and dryers where the majority of maintenance is needed. Once washed, items are added to our conveyor systems for repacking and prepping to ship back out. The maintenance team will primarily service and repair washers and dryers, but will also work on boilers, conveyors, and other departments in the facility. The shift schedule is Monday to Thursday from 1pm to 9:30pm, and Friday from 1pm until the work is done, averaging 40-44 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $64480.00
