Job Description:
Terracon embarked on a business transformation journey and implementing Oracle Fusion HCM, EPM, ERP, and PPM. This role focuses on architecting and designing solution withing OCI and OIC to achieve business requirement. The architect will collaborate with the implementation consultant to design the technical architecture, OIC configuration, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.
General Responsibilities:
Optimizes the technology architecture used by software applications, whether developed in-house, by a consultant, or provided by a third party. Experiments with and prototypes new tools and approaches to determine which ones may improve developer productivity and/or reduce overall complexity. Is a resource to others regarding existing software, plans for new software, and industry trends overall. Working with others, constantly modernizes every system.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the overall systems architecture.
Work with product teams to guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and software.
Architect technical solutions for Oracle Cloud including (but not limited to) integrations, reports, custom enhancements, customizations, and workflows using technologies including OICS, SOACS, VBCS, PLSQL, OTBI, BI Publisher, JavaScript and APEX
Automated CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Designed technical architecture for Oracle Cloud Fusion ensuring scalability and security
Lead technical Architecture design and development for implementation projects involving data conversions. Expertise in designing approach for conversions and data clean-up/validations
Prepare the functional and technical design documentation, assist with data mapping, error handling, perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues and assist with appropriate resolutions
Manage Instance Management Plan
Review, advise and design standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
Contribute to the road map for each system, including (when known) technical or functional obsolescence dates
Assist in the development of and manages an architecture governance process.
Provide technical guidance and productivity tools to product teams.
Develop and maintain architectural assets including security requirements, principles, standards, policies, reference architectures, models, blueprints, roadmaps, frameworks, patterns and services using Unified Modeling Language (UML).
Research new technologies and demonstrate the use by developing proof of concept demonstrations.
Work closely with cloud-native application architectures like PaaS, IaaS, microservices, containerization, serverless computing, API design.
Develop, create awareness for, and monitor adherence to integration standards that meet operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability.
Track industry trends and maintain knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise's architecture needs.
Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Maintain quality standards on all projects.
