Your Role on Our Team:
As a Senior Talent Specialist on the Talent Solution Center team, you will support both the Talent Team and be the initial point of contact for employees. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient, consistent, and scalable service delivery across the organization and is responsible for assisting in the execution of Talent projects and managing employee data.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

2nd shift
Monday- Thursday- 11:30am- 7:30 pm
Friday – 1:30 pm- 9:30 pm
Help Case Support:
Skillfully address Help Cases within the Workday platform and over the phone line, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions to general inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, time/attendance, and internal Milwaukee Tool Policies, while maintaining effective communication with employees.
Document onsite inquiries and resolutions in the Workday Help case system, maintaining detailed records for future reference.
Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and patience in all interactions.
Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the HR Help Desk Manager or appropriate HR specialist for further investigation and resolution.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Talent policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure accurate and consistent responses to inquiries
Complete Workday Inbox Tasks and promptly address pending items.
Support employee data audits to ensure data integrity for the business.
Assist in employee data pulls to support projects across the business.
Employee Orientation and Onboarding:
Conduct orientation sessions for new employees, providing them with an overview of the company's culture expectations, goals, and resources.
Present information about Talent policies, benefits, and other relevant topics in a clear and accessible manner.
Assist in the new hire onboarding process in Workday for all new hires
Ensure all necessary materials, technology, and facilities are prepared and available for orientation sessions
Work collaboratively with the Talent Acquisition team to provide a successful orientation and onboarding experience for all new hires.
Create, modify and/or remove user accounts in specific technology platforms (Asset Panda, HighJump, etc.)
Create and distribute employee badges based on the employee’s location and job
Communicate with business leaders orientation attendance
Complete the verification of new employee I9 documents and the employer section of the I9 form within the federally mandated timeframes.
Resolve any tentative non-confirmations from E-Verify while adhering to E-Verify rules and regulations.
Talent Support
Assist Talent Learning, Acquisition, and Management with administrative tasks and data reporting as needed.
Tasks may include but are not limited to: all employee meetings and event set up, job fairs, retrieving data reports and data entry in HRIS and eLearning systems, and ordering supplies.
Compliance:
Maintain employee files in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including proper filing and retention of I9 documents.
Carry out the company’s policies and practices and escalate any concerns that are not in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Fulfill any other duties as assigned.
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
Bilingual Proficiency is Required
Fluency in Spanish and English
This position requires an associate degree in Business Administration or Communications and/or equivalent experience
A demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
An outstanding attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow – up skills
A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently as well as on a team
A proficiency in Excel
Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
At least two years of experience in a similar position is preferred
Previous experience in an office environment
Previous experience in Workday and Kronos/UKG
