Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Maintain and repair plant equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment. Perform setups and changeovers of machinery. This is a plastics and oil manufacturing company. The company blowmolds their own plastic bottles and separately manufactures oil, such as the type used for oil changes that you would buy at Walmart. The facility can be very hot in the summer due to the blowmolding machines, but it is comfortable in the winter. The facility is large and operates 24/7. Currently, there are TWO openings on 2nd shift and THREE openings on 3rd shift. Hours: 2nd Shift (Mids): 2:30 – 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, includes $1.50 shift differential (2 openings). 3rd Shift (Nights): 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, includes $1.75 shift differential (3 openings). Salary ranges from $28.04 to $31.15 per hour, depending on experience, plus additional shift differentials.

Work Environment

Expected to work in a manufacturing and production environment, which may include being exposed to work in high/precarious places, moving machinery, marked changes in temperature and humidity, dust, odors, and fumes.
