What will you do?

A day in the life of an Outbound Logistics Specialist at Vans looks a little like this. Schedule will be Monday - Friday 7am-3:45pm.

Process import/export shipments. Monitor daily workflow to ensure regulatory timeframes are met. Participate in daily import audits. Prepare, gather, and maintain import/export documents. Answer questions and resolve non routine issues involving imports/exports. Ensure commercial and sales invoices are accurate.

• Exchanges standard technical or nontechnical information with colleagues and immediate superiors and/or customers.

• May be required to interpret or clarify technical information to aid understanding.

• Interprets or explains data or information to deliver messages.

• Audience may not be knowledgeable about the subject matter.

• Requires awareness of cultural differences and adapts style accordingly

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your minimum 5 years of experience and professional achievements. High school diploma or equivalent education; Associate’s degree preferred.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• Impact is short term (typically limited to one year).

• Activities limited to monthly/quarterly planning.

• Supports the achievement of goals through personal effort in own work area.

• Scope of impact will be at the department and/or team level.

• May also impact on related activities outside of own work team and/or department.

$26.84 USD - $33.55 USD per hour

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
