Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements for audits and acquisitions, researching discrepancies, and conducting accounting research. This role requires a strong background in public accounting and financial audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements for audits and acquisitions.

Conduct thorough research on accounting discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Perform detailed accounting research to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Collaborate with internal and external parties to facilitate audit processes.

Assist in the preparation of acquisition-related financial documentation.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports.

Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team and other departments as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 8+ years of experience in public accounting and financial audits.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Nice To Have:

CPA certification preferred.

Experience with NetSuite

Prior work in the telecom or construction industry null
