Reporting Analyst (part time)
Northwestern College seeks a data- and detail-oriented professional to join the Raiders’ institutional research department. The position is part time (approximately 15-20 hours per week) with some scheduling flexibility and starts this fall.
The reporting analyst works with the director of institutional research to collect, analyze and share data with both external organizations and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include preparing data for government reporting, accreditation and college ranking organizations.
Qualified applicants will demonstrate:
Experience writing SQL
Experience with a data cleaning tool such as R or Python
An ability to analyze quantitative data to identify patterns
Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas
Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy
An ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Adherence to deadlines
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to data confidentiality and data security best practices
A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required.
