Description
Essential Functions
Ensures the high availability and reliability of Windows Server and Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, file servers, and group policies. Safeguards the Active Directory environment against security threats, such as unauthorized access, malware, and system vulnerabilities by installing, configuring and maintaining all supported technologies in optimum condition.
Oversees file and user account security within the Windows Server and Microsoft Active Directory environment, ensuring proper permissions, access controls, and group policies are in place. Monitors and addresses potential security risks, including unauthorized access and data breaches, to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure.
Develop a culture of high performance and employee engagement by inspiring, developing, and motivating internal talent. Facilitate good discussions with employees in order to understand their professional goals and aspirations. Create an environment of open communication that fosters upward feedback and suggestions. Make well informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, exhibit autonomy and execute on organization initiatives. (Measure by Employee Engagement and Retention). Maintains respectful relationships with all end users and management levels utilizing Helpdesk services.
Provides training and direction to all IT Support Analysts in the core skills required to perform their daily support activities.
Develops and maintains up-to-date technical documentation, policies, and procedures for end-user support and networking infrastructure. Ensures accurate inventory tracking of all IT assets and consumables.

Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications relevant to the role are highly desirable, including Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate. Additional certifications, such as ITIL Foundation for process improvement or CompTIA Network+ for foundational networking knowledge, are considered a strong plus.
Experience
4 years of IT support experience, with a strong focus on managing and maintaining on-premises Microsoft Active Directory environments.
· Strong technical proficiency with a emphasis on Active Directory management and related technologies.
· Skilled in configuring and maintaining robust IT environments, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.
· Practical experience in cloud migrations to Azure and familiarizing with Microsoft Entra to enhance identity and access management.
· Proficient in ensuring secure and efficient operation of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, IIS, SQL Server, and Exchange Server.
· Experienced with network security protocols such as SSL/IPSec VPN, and knowledgeable in networking topologies and protocols including TCP/IP and PTP VPN.
· Capable of managing remote access technologies and adapting network infrastructure for initial cloud integrations.
· Possesses excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
· Available for on-call responsibilities and occasional travel up to 10% to support network operations and business continuity.
