Key Responsibilities Project Estimation & Planning Develop conceptual and final cost estimates. Conduct specification and constructability reviews. Apply value engineering principles to optimize costs. Assist in grant applications and securing financial resources. Collaborate with developers to define project scope and timelines. Source and negotiate quotes from external subcontractors and suppliers. Project Execution & Management Oversee project commissioning, setup, and scheduling. Organize and lead project planning meetings. Manage and adjust project budgets, ensuring financial accountability. Maintain strong relationships with owners, partners, and government entities. Field Work & Job Monitoring Continuously track fieldwork progress, addressing challenges proactively. Take corrective actions and troubleshoot issues as needed. Reassess and re-budget project costs when necessary. Communicate financial status updates to stakeholders. Performance & Quality Review Analyze and document variances between actual costs and budgets. Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains. Ensure adherence to local quality standards and regulations. What You Bring 7-10 years of construction experience, including multi-family and development projects. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
