Lockheed Martin Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst in Orlando, Florida

Description: Your Mission:

At Lockheed Martin, we're on a mission to find an accomplished Information Security Engineer to join our elite Corporate Information Security Office, supporting the LM Missile and Fire Control (MFC) Business Area. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your broad understanding of IT and cyber domains to improve the security posture of various elements of MFC and determine the adequacy of current controls. You will support validation efforts to ensure risks have been mitigated or residual risks are being adequately managed as part of the overall risk throughout the MFC Business Area.

The selected individual will serve as the Business Area Governance and Vulnerability Remediation POC for MFC. In this role, the candidate must take a balanced, risk-based approach to ensure the business needs are being met when remediating identified risks and vulnerabilities within specific timeframes and thorough understanding of risk and impacts/consequences if not addressed with the ability to articulate to customers. At a high level, the candidate to fill this role will be responsible for:

• Support day-to-day information security operations

• Ensure system security measures comply with applicable government policies and accurately assess the impact of modifications and vulnerabilities for each system

• Manage priority events and track remediation statuses

• Apply cyber security standards, directives, guidance, and policies

• Presenting to a variety of audiences ranging from technical to non-technical within a variety of audience seniorities

• Interfacing with a variety of functions and departments, including Corporate Information Security (CIS), MFC IT, and MFC Programs and Functional areas

• Assisting teams in secure IT architecture, designs, and implementations

• Providing support and subject matter expertise to technical to non-technical teams

• Forward thinking in areas to improve process and automation opportunities

Basic Qualifications:

• Hands-on cybersecurity and/or Information Technology experience, within the consecutive past 1-2 years depending on education, in one or more of the following disciplines:

infrastructure, cloud, network, applications, or systems administration (Windows, Linux, Unix, and/or macOS).

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peer teams for common solutions

• Experience in Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)

• Ability to research and analyze problems

• Ability to provide hands-on support to customers with strong customer service skills

• Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills

• Ability to manage the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies

• Proven record of successfully applying critical thinking and process discipline

• Ability to obtain and retain a DoD Secret clearance (not required at time of hire)

Desired Skills:

• Some understanding of Lockheed Martin IT Security policies, procedures and blueprints

• Specific expertise with Vulnerability Remediation

• Experience working with Corporate Information Security (CIS) tools such as Service Central GRC, Tenable, etc.

• An understanding of FAR/DFARS clauses regarding contractor information security (e.g. DFARS 252.204-7012) and NIST 800-171

• Experience in reviewing cybersecurity contractual language in contracts in statements of work, DD254s, or requests for proposals

• Experience in Supply Chain Cyber working with Buyers and Suppliers in assisting with cybersecurity contractual requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $84,500 - $159,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $73,500 - $140,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
