Signature Aviation Director, Workforce Execution (Remote) in Orlando, Florida

As the Director of Workforce Execution, you will be responsible for owning the implementation and execution of short and long-term resourcing plans across our Fixed Base Operations (FBOs). Your primary focus will be on optimizing workforce resources, collaborating with FBOs to determine final workforce targets, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance operational and cost performance. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of workforce planning and execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Workforce Execution:

  • Develop and execute short and long-term resourcing plans in alignment with Signature Aviation's strategic goals and operational requirements.

  • Collaborate with FBO leadership and HR teams to ensure the timely and effective implementation of workforce plans.

  • Monitor the execution of workforce plans, adjusting as needed to address changing business needs and FBO conditions.

  • Workforce Resource Optimization:

  • Analyze workforce data and performance metrics to optimize workforce resources across FBOs.

  • Identify areas for improvement in staffing levels, skill sets, and workforce distribution to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.

  • Implement best practices across the FBO network for resource allocation to ensure optimal productivity and cost-effectiveness.

  • Collaboration with FBOs:

  • Work closely with Area Directors and FBO leaders to understand their operational requirements, service standards, and labor contract constraints (where applicable)

  • Collaborate with FBO teams to determine final workforce targets based on business structure, volumes, and risk assessments.

  • Foster a collaborative and communicative relationship with FBOs to ensure the successful implementation of workforce plans.

  • Performance and Cost Improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational performance and cost efficiency across FBOs.

  • Implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce labor costs, and optimize staffing levels without compromising service quality.

  • Lead and work within continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance workforce execution effectiveness.

Supervisor and Financial Responsibilities:

  • Primarily interacts with Operations, Finance, Continuous Improvement, and Revenue Management

  • Daily interactions with individual contributors in professional roles

  • Regular interactions with key customers and other stakeholders

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or equivalent; plus 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in analytics preferred

  • Proven experience in workforce planning, execution, cost allocation and capacity planning; ideally in a large scale organization

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a record of leading cross functional initiatives

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex conceptual initiatives and processes to all levels of the company

  • Forecasting, financial modeling, data analysis and/or budgeting experience

  • Financial planning and analysis, Continuous Improvement & Enterprise Optimization (CIEO), and/or network planning experience

  • Proficiency in planning tools, database query ability / SQL experience and strong excel capability strongly preferred

Additional knowledge and skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to solve problems and work in fast paced environment

  • Must be able to prioritize and manage concurrent projects and issues skillfully.

  • Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-departmental and virtual teams at a senior level.

  • Ability to apply logical and critical thinking principles to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

  • Proficient in SQL (Structured Query Language) to analyze and manipulate large datasets. Must be be able to write complex queries to extract and manipulate data from different databases.

  • Proficient in connecting to different data sources, transforming data, and creating visualizations that can help identify trends and insights using Power BI and/or Tableau.
