Schedule: Full Time Days

Shift : Sunday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm

  • AdventHealth East Orlando has been serving East Orlando residents since 1941 as an innovative local leader that fills a vital need in a fast-growing area.

  • A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion project upgraded the hospital to 295 beds, with a spacious patient tower and 80 new private rooms designed to enhance the holistic care experience to approximately 15,000 inpatients each year.

The role you’ll contribute: Performs routine preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems throughout the facility. Inspects and tests equipment. Follows established procedures and receives daily instruction on work. Responsible for general maintenance related to the facility and assists other trades as needed.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Assist in operation and general maintenance of painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems. Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested

· Assist in tests, maintenance and repairs of mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under direct supervision

· Responds to in-house Work Orders and PM's on daily basis, and in a timely manner

· Under direct supervision may be required to respond to emergency calls

· May be required to take call in accordance with facility in a timely manner

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

• Valid state driver's licenses

•High School Education or GED or equivalent years of experience

Preferred qualifications:

•One-year experience in healthcare setting
