Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to work in an industrial environment. The role involves working off preventive maintenance schedules as well as performing reactive maintenance when machinery breaks down.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery based on schedules.

• Conduct reactive maintenance and troubleshoot issues when machinery breaks down.

• Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery problems.

• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repairs.

• Read and interpret blueprints to assist in maintenance tasks.

• Carry out welding tasks as needed for maintenance and repair.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding maintenance issues and solutions.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.

• Experience with preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical troubleshooting.

• Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Welding skills.

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

• Ability to provide one’s own hand tools to perform job responsibilities.

• Ability to work overtime as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bi-lingual is a plus.

• Ability to communicate verbally in person and on the telephone.

• Computer literacy.

• Ability to multi-task.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00
