Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.

  • Bachelor’s degree and progressively responsible experience in higher education

  • Ability to work effectively with the Director and other stakeholders to coordinate transfer pathways.

  • Knowledge of university policies and practices, especially in relation to transfer of credit.

  • Knowledge of THECB and SACSCOC policies, especially in relation to transfer of credit.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience supervising, training, and providing support to full-time staff

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree

  • Experience in academic advising or related service

  • Demonstrated experience with technologies relating to transfer of credit and student services, examples include TES by CollegeSource, EAB Transfer portal, EAB Navigate, Banner SIS , etc.

  • Demonstrated experience working with faculty to develop transfer pathways with university partners.

  • Experience identifying and recommending transfer of credit equivalencies.

and operations within the Office of Strategic Initiatives.

Job Description:

The Assistant Director (AD) Transfer Articulation conducts initial articulation reviews for developing partnerships to propose to the appropriately credentialed faculty. The AD assists the Director with coordinating co-enrollment and transfer pathways. The AD assists the Director with implementing processes involving transfer course articulation including transfer technologies, such as EAB Transfer Portal, TES by College Source, and others. The Assistant Director of Transfer Articulation reports to the Director of Regional and International Partnerships in the Office of Strategic Initiatives. This role provides direct supervision and support to Transfer Navigators in the Transfer Center. The Assistant Director assists in Transfer Center operations and reporting as needed. This role is remote.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and support transfer navigators

  • Conduct initial articulation reviews for developing domestic and international partnerships to propose to the appropriately credentialed faculty. Coordinate reviews with faculty. Provide articulation information to Admissions Processing.

  • Assist in coordinating co-enrollment and transfer pathways.

  • Assist with implementing processes involving transfer course articulation, including transfer technologies.

  • Complete other projects to support the mission of TXST Global

  • Assist in Transfer Center operations and reporting as needed
