Job Title: 3rd Shift Machinist
Job Description
As a 3rd Shift Machinist, you will operate your own machine and sometimes multiple CNC machines depending on your skill level. You will be assigned to a department based on your interview and the best fit for your skills. You will handle machine setup, tear down, and tool changes. More experienced machinists will also program, edit, and input data into the CNC machines. Training will be provided, and no one will be expected to perform tasks beyond their capabilities on day one. We aim to develop machinists who can train others and potentially move into supervisory roles.
Responsibilities
Operate and manage CNC machines such as Davenport, Mazak, and Haas.
Set up, tear down, and perform tool changes on machines.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
Program and edit CNC machines (for more skilled machinists).
Train new staff and assist in their development.
Essential Skills
Ability to read gauges.
Proficiency in setting up machines, performing tool changes, and tearing down machines.
Troubleshooting machine problems.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Davenport, Haas, Mazak, mills, and lathes.
1-3 years of CNC machining experience for B Machinists.
4+ years of CNC machining experience for A Machinists including programming skills.

Work Environment
The 3rd shift runs from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. The facility is climate-controlled, and once trained, you will operate machines independently within a team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43804.80 - $62566.40
