Job Title: Office AdministratorJob Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support four departments within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ordering supplies, entering orders, tracking purchase orders, and performing other duties as assigned. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Order Supplies: Manage and order office supplies for four departments, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.

  • Enter Orders: Accurately enter orders into the company's system, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date.

  • Track Purchase Orders: Monitor and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any discrepancies.

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the departments, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of orders, supplies, and inventory.

  • Communication: Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth transactions and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager or department heads.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

The work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The first month will be fully in-office with the opportunity to work from home for 2 days per week afterward. This position is a maternity leave cover with the ability to train with the current person. The role involves supporting the Lab, Quality, Technical, and Planning & Geology departments. The office environment is friendly and offers good benefits, with possible opportunities for permanent positions or other internal roles.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
