Job Description
LRS Consulting is hiring for a Technical Project Manager for a client in Overland Park, KS.
We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with a high degree of quality.
Responsibilities:
Engage with cross-functional technical and product management teams to prioritize tasks and work efforts by understanding scope, requirements, effort, and tradeoffs when changes occur.
Create and monitor active work, backlog, priorities, and risks for team members and stakeholders.
Advise business partners on project options to achieve objectives.
Manage project documentation and report on project status, backlog, and resource allocation.
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner.Implement, measure, and report key performance indicators while maintaining up-to-date project dashboards.
Adhere to enterprise-wide project management methodology standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of experience in project coordination or management of IT and/or software development projects.
Proven track record of leading agile development teams and successfully delivering enterprise software projects on time and within budget.
Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Strong technical background with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
Experience using project management tools such as Jira or MS Project to create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
Understanding of release and change management fundamentals to support project success.

Hourly rate between $20 - $125 per hour
