The Electrician will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in the modular units.
Job Requirements
Valid MN Driver's License
High school diploma or equivalent
Class A MN Journeyman or Master Electrician License
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications
Attend continuing education for position
Interpret construction documents, specifications, verbal and written instructions
Competent in email and Project Management platforms such as Procore
Work in restricted areas and possible at heights
Ability to work on tight deadlines under pressure
Perform as a self-starter and also a team player
Demonstrate critical thinking skills with the capability to troubleshoot and make logical project minded decisions
Lead the electrical team/department
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in all elements depending on job location and time of year
Must be able to stand, sit, walk, kneel, stoop, or drive for long periods of time
Must physically be capable of lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs
Essential functions:
Installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
Set switchgear, panels, and other distribution equipment
Measure, cut and bend conduit
Trace out short circuits in wiring, along with troubleshooting other electrical issues
Make minor electrical repairs
Maintain tools and equipment
Work closely with the QC Department, Master Electricians, Supervisors, and Plant Manager
Lead individuals to allow learning and development
Supervise and approve all electrical work done by electricians and journeymen.
Responsible for signing for all electrical work in the facility.
Maintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites, while practicing appropriate safety procedures.
Assist and support other production floor operations as required.
Demonstrate excellent and efficient communication
Manage project files, drawings, documents and records in our system
Perform in accordance with the National Electrical Code
3+ years in a manufacturing environment
Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications.
Salary Based on Experience
Level 1: $17-$22
Level 2: $22-$26
Level 3: $26-$30
